Mountain Vista Farm's flexible programming allows for movement among programs. Some clients, for instance, may need a period of residential treatment followed by a transfer to outpatient work. Our purpose is to match clients with the level of addiction counseling support they need. When you have questions, it's always a good idea to contact us. We can help you decide which treatment program is best for you, whether it's our residential care program or day treatment. Please contact us.
Day Treatment
- Mountain Vista Farm offers a Day Treatment Program for those clients who need addiction counseling, education and support, but do not require the 24 hours support of the residential program.
- Day Treatment clients need to be highly motivated to get well and able to maintain abstinence from mood altering drugs while living at home. The Day Treatment Program includes many of the features of the Residential Care Program, but allows clients time away from the program to continue with some of their day-to-day responsibilities. You can see information on our admissions section, where we have answers to many questions, such as who should make the call and who can be treated at Mountain Vista Farm.
- Clients are scheduled 5-7 days per week. The schedule includes group counseling, individual counseling and educational experiences. The Family is included in our Family Program and benefit from education, group counseling and family meetings. Day treatment may be the primary treatment experience or may be appropriate as the next logical level of care after a period of residential care.
Intensive Out Patient
- Our Intensive Outpatient Program is designed for clients who already have a foundation of primary treatment in either the residential program or day treatment program. The IOP is an appropriate level of support for clients who have completed primary treatment and will benefit from ongoing addiction counseling and education.
- As with the Day Treatment Program, IOP clients need to be highly motivated and able to remain abstinent without the 24-hour per day support offered in the residential program. The outpatient option may allow a client to resume working and living at home, while still receiving support for continuing sobriety.
- Intensive Outpatient Program clients participate 4-7 days a week at Mountain Vista Farm in group counseling, individual counseling and selected educational experiences. The client's family is involved in treatment through participation in the Family Program. There is help available and many answers to commonly asked questions in our Frequently Asked Questions section. Get a complete overview of our available Programs, and always get help by contacting us at your convenience; we are available seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Please contact us.
